About Us

Wallace Arnold
Bus and Coach Glazing was formed in 1993 - initially operating out of the Plaxton Accident and Repair Centre at Ware Hertfordshire and providing a glass support function for Duple and Plaxton operators.
We later extended our area of coverage by also opening a service centre at Anston (Sheffield) to support the Plaxton Duple Sales and Service aftermarket. Soon afterwards we made the further decision to also stock and fit glass for other manufacturers’ vehicle ranges in order to better support operators of Plaxton and Duple vehicles who themselves operated mixed brand fleets.

This was seen by our customers as a very positive and helpful addition to the service we offered and we built upon that successful formula by opening a 3rd service centre at Plaxton's Barrhead (Glasgow) facility to complete a 'backbone' of service centres covering the UK.

In 2005, Plaxton entered into an agreement with PSV Glass for the supply of glass and following this in 2007 Plaxton was acquired by the ADL Group, who themselves had a parallel full distribution agreement in place with PSV Glass for the supply of glass and windscreens to operators of ADL buses, midi-buses and fire engines.

In 2009, Plaxton also signed a full distribution agreement with PSV Glass for the guaranteed Same-Day delivery service for the supply of all types of glass to further support Bus and Coach Glazing and two years later in 2011 PSV Glass acquired the complete Bus and Coach Glazing division from ADL Plaxton.
